Rescue Incentives are grants paid to organizations that transfer in dogs or cats from a brick-and-mortar shelter in Arkansas or NWA PAW shelter.
A “shelter” is defined as a brick-and-mortar facility with open adoption hours for the public.
In addition:
- For organizations without a government contract, they must take in more than 200 animals annually, be open to the public at least two days a week and have a non-residential sheltering facility.
- For government animal services and organizations with a government contract, they must take in more than 20 animals annually and cannot transfer all their animals to another shelter.
Adoption Stipends
The goal for the adoption stipend is to help offset adoption discounts or expenses associated with NWA PAW member adoptions completed at the Pet Resource Center.
Adoption stipends are for NWA PAW members who have participated in a “Shelter Saturday” adoption event or other adoption, physically at the Pet Resource Center in Bentonville – 1312 Melissa Drive.
This is a limited budget grant that will expire on 9/30/23 or when funds are depleted.
